Marvelous Marbling

In a large wooden vat, I poured thickened water, and after that, liquefied oil paints.The oil and water resist creating beautiful bubbles and swirls on the surface. Heavy damp water color paper and sometimes suede stretched tight onto large stretchers was just touched to the paint surface creating immediate absorption of the paint to the paper. sometimes I would paint partial figures with a rubber paint that would resist the oil colors. Later when the rubber was rubbed off and the white areas exposed, I would do secret painting to integrate it all. It was quite intense and the fumes quite toxic. There were however many paintings from that era before I had to stop, some large, some small, many sold and some still with me. We  are offering them here as archival giclee prints and canvases.
