My translation of the Indian Vedic term "Prana" is the light~energy~spirit particles that are immersing though all of us and all the universe, through both living beings and inanimate objects all the time.

Carol's method depends on developing a pineal gland 'see light in the dark' type of vision. This is a closed-eyed way of seeing the aura as myriads of tiny lit-up particles of energy. Darker, denser colors are due to having been hidden away from the light, usually because of trauma. These spaces can be reopened to the flow and relighted.
